O que virá... proximamente!

Amig@s!

Estou recebendo ótimas colaborações de pessoas próximas: contos, poemas, crônicas, etc. (super-obrigada!) Há vários contos "na fila" e só pretendo esperar uns dias para publicá-los, para permitir um certo intervalo entre uma postagem e outra. Especialmente porque as contribuições tendem a ser longas...

Por enquanto, posto mais um poema meu, em inglês, esforço humilde inspirado numa poeta norteamericana que eu gosto muito, Diane Wakoski. (Estou preparando uns comentários sobre a obra dela que talvez fiquem prontos na semana que vem. )


Desert.

Last night in a dark
dream you climbed behind me
the stony path to the pueblo,
hands thrust warm under the
prickly wool of my poncho.
three hundred nights now i
have feasted on your silence.
this time we sat
on the flattened rocks
still damp before the
desert morning. i pointed
toward the place the sun
would erupt. a distant white horse
broke on the horizon of cliffs
into a gallop. rattlesnake prints
on the red sand, my heart
in your pocket. this is what
you do: pluck them, one by
one, the hearts of the girls,
the women who have dropped
their keys into your hand. who
write you letters and books.
you are a greedy boy.
there is not enough water
in this desert
for your cup.
